A Short Film About Healing
Out of trauma, blooms a sense of healing and connection. “Between Lines” is a short film that speaks to the scarring experience of schoolgirl bullying - and the recovery that follows. The narrative follows a young woman’s journey as she navigates isolation, exclusion and anxiety.
Animation directing this piece is one of my proudest and most tender accomplishments, working with a team of over 30 incredibly talented women to bring the story to life. Throughout production the team became closer as friends, and eventually many of us met in NYC at the Brooklyn Film Festival to watch our film win the “Audience Choice Award” on the big screen. What a dream come true!
